Your homepage first look

Entering a website asks us to collect the initial public HTML of its homepage and its collection instructions. Submit a website you own or have permission to assess. We do not sign in to that website or make changes to it.

The first look covers secure delivery, page-title and description presence, page headings and observed indexing instructions. It may also show structured-data types found in that page. It does not include a full website crawl, internal-link audit, keyword rankings, traffic measurements, competitor research or live AI-answer measurements.

After collecting the findings, we may capture an image of the public homepage to show beneath them. We visit as a new visitor, without your website login, and do not submit forms or make changes. If the image is unavailable, we use the collected text in the existing preview. If the homepage cannot be read, we show the clearly labelled fictional example instead. The picture is for context; it does not add checks to the report. Search engines may display different titles or descriptions. A check marked found confirms the stated observation; it does not establish that the wording is effective.

A page that cannot be read is labelled could not check. Missing measurements are not treated as website failures. Findings describe the evidence available at collection time and cannot guarantee rankings, indexing, inclusion in AI answers or customer growth. You can return to the clearly labelled fictional example at any time.

Keeping and emailing your report

When you run a check, we save the extracted findings, website address, collection date and a protected reference to an essential cookie in your browser for 30 days. A homepage image, when available, is held with that report and expires with it. We do not save the raw homepage HTML. This lets you return to your own interactive report. The cookie is random, kept private from page scripts, and tied to this website. Another browser cannot open your report just by knowing its link. Clearing the cookie prevents you from reopening the saved report; you can run a new check or keep a downloaded copy.

You can download the findings without giving an email address. Report email remains available only in our protected development preview, after verified sign-in and agreement to the report terms. The public homepage offers a downloadable copy and does not accept report-email requests. In that separate preview, email is sent only to the address verified by the Cloudflare login. We record that request, the terms version, delivery status and the address for the remaining life of the saved report. Our private Resend service sends the actual findings and an interactive link. Reply to the report email if you need help.

Report email is separate from marketing consent. Asking for your report does not subscribe you to updates, and a marketing opt-out does not prevent a report you explicitly request. The email service accepting a message does not guarantee inbox delivery. A public report link needs the original browser cookie; a private emailed report needs the verified preview login. Both expire 30 days after the check; the findings in your email or downloaded copy remain under your control.

If you separately choose updates, we may prepare a helpful follow-up based on your report while it is retained. Updates are optional and you can unsubscribe. Preview usage is limited, and we may pause checks or delivery when a limit is reached.

Choosing email updates

Our updates form asks for your email address and two separate, unticked choices: consent to receive launch news and product updates, and agreement to these terms with acknowledgment of the Privacy Notice. We require both before accepting an updates request.

By selecting the email-updates checkbox, you ask Can They Find Me to email you launch news, product updates and practical website tips. We aim for about one useful email a week when we have something worth sharing; a relevant report follow-up may take its place. This is optional: you can use the first look or choose account creation without subscribing to marketing emails. No credit card is required.

This homepage uses our existing live launch signup list. We store the email address, consent version, signup source and date. The website address and homepage observations are not attached to that subscription. We use Cloudflare to hold the signup record and our existing Resend integration to manage and deliver updates. See our Privacy Notice for provider processing, email engagement tracking, retention and your information rights.

We do not send an email just because you view or submit this form. Updates are sent separately. Each marketing email provides an unsubscribe option. You can also ask support@cantheyfindme.com to stop updates. We retain a suppression record to respect that choice; submitting an unsubscribed address again does not automatically restart emails.

Creating an account

The separate account link opens our protected customer sign-up page. Account creation, verified sign-in and account-security checks are handled there. It does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. Our service terms apply to accounts, full reports and any separately agreed paid service. The homepage first look is not automatically saved to a new account.

You will see the scope, price and applicable billing terms before any paid purchase is available. Entering a website or joining the updates list does not agree to those purchases.

Privacy and your choices

We use the website address you enter to collect the homepage. Extracted findings, any captured homepage image and requested delivery details are held in a separate preview report store for 30 days, not in the customer account database or as part of your newsletter subscription. Aggregate usage and daily pseudonymous limit records are retained for 30 days. Raw homepage HTML, IP addresses and login tokens are not saved in those report or usage records. Daily check limits use a rotating, one-way reference to your network connection so clearing cookies cannot reset the allowance. Your downloaded copy is a separate file under your control.

We use the approximate city, region or country associated with your connection to make fictional examples more relevant. This does not tell us where your business operates. We do not request your device’s precise location or save coordinates or a separate location profile. Report findings are not changed by your location. A place name may appear in an example in a requested email or downloaded report and stay with that copy.

Cloudflare processes network information to protect this website. An essential, secure cookie lets this browser reopen its own free reports for 30 days. Optional marketing updates are separate. Protected account and development pages also use Cloudflare login cookies. We do not add advertising scripts to this homepage. You can request access, correction or deletion of your signup information through the contacts above; we may need to verify the request.
